Evening Hours at Findlay Market
Wednesdays, May - September
We are extending our Wednesday hours this summer to accommodate the grocery shopping needs of those who live and work in the city.
Tuesday: 9am-6pm; WEDNESDAY: 9am-8pm; Thursday-Friday: 9am-6pm; Saturday: 8am-6pm, Sunday: 10am-4pm; Monday: Closed
Every Wednesday evening we will host Groceries & Grilling. Shoppers can purchase food at the market and we will provide grills for cooking on site. Each week, there will be a featured merchant demoing a recipe, a community group partner and of course, a full house of merchants with all of your shopping needs.
This week, August 16th, African American Celebration: Nay Nay’s BBQ Shredded Pork Sandwiches with Nay Nay
- Pre-roasted pork butt, shredded
- 1 tablespoons seasoning sauce
- 1 bottle of Your Favorite BBQ Sauce
- Nay Nay’s Home-Made Buns
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 sheet of aluminum foil
- Mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, cumin, onion powder, salt and seasoning sauce in a bowl.
- Sprinkle pre-roasted pork with brown sugar mixture and place onto aluminum foil.
- Close foil and place on grill at low-medium heat to warm pork.
- Grill for 5-7 minutes.
- To moisten, add BBQ sauce to pork and let pork cool.
- Serve with NayNays home-made buns.

Market Wines will offer a special white and red wine (paired with each week's theme) for purchase by the glass. Drink either in the shop or drink to-go in the OTR Biergarten.
Pet Wants will have their self-service dog bath outside by the OTR Biergarten during every Groceries & Grilling Wednesday. They provide the shampoo, brushes and dryers; you provide the dirty dog!
