I am from Indiana. Am I able to use my Hoosier Work card at Findlay Market?

YES! “Indiana cardholders can use their Hoosier Works card at any store in the United States that accepts food assistance” as answered here. 

In addition, if you live in a state outside of Ohio, your state-specific EBT should be accepted at any food seller establishment that is authorized to accept EBT cards. However, always check your state-specific Jobs and Family Services or Assistance Benefits website to get more information.

I have questions about my Ohio Direction EBT card. Where can I find more information?

I am from Ohio and an EBT cardholder. I am traveling out of state. Can I use my Ohio Direction EBT card in another state?

YES! “The new EBT cards can be used by our customers anywhere in Ohio as well as in other states. This makes it easy for our customers to access their food stamp benefits in the event of their moving or in emergency situations,” as answered here.

I live in Kentucky. How do I apply for the Kentucky EBT card?

Do all vendors accept EBT Cards at Findlay Market? 

No. Some vendors do not accept EBT Cards or SNAP tokens. Please see the following link and select “EBT Accepting” or “SNAP Plus” tabs on the left-hand side to learn which vendors do.

What hours can I participate in the SNAP Plus Program and Produce Perks Match Program?

Anytime the Market is open! On Fridays from 11 am to 4 pm, Saturdays from 8 am to 3:30 pm, and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm, our Education Associate is available in the Education Center to assist you. Any other time of the week, come to the Market Center and the Market Center Associate will be able to assist you.

How do I use my EBT card with the Outdoor Market farmers and food sellers? 

Majority of the farmers and food sellers in the Outdoor portions of the Market (North and South Elder St. & the Farmshed) do not have their own EBT card reader. However, you can go to the Market Center or Education Center to swipe your EBT card for gold tokens and the matching green Produce Perks tokens, as the outdoor market vendors do accept Produce Perks tokens and/or Gold SNAP tokens.

Do the butchers accept the Green Produce Perks or Gold SNAP tokens? 

No. The butchers in the Market House and in Findlay Market Square have their own EBT readers and do not accept the Gold SNAP tokens. Green Produce Perks tokens are used only for produce. 

Where can I use the Gold SNAP tokens during the weekdays? 

ETC Produce & Provisions, Blue Oven Bakery, Like Mom’s Only Vegan, and Bee Haven accept the Gold SNAP tokens. 

Where can I use the Green Produce Perks tokens during the weekdays? 

ETC Produce & Provisions and Roth Produce accept Green Produce Perks tokens during the weekdays. Sometimes, Blue Oven Bakery sells extra produce off their garden and occasionally accepts Green Produce Perks tokens.
