As we gear up for #NationalFarmersMarketWeek, August 1-7, we will be highlighting and celebrating all of the amazing assets our growers and producers bring to our communities. Today we are featuring Rich Life Farm and Fungi LLC!

Rich Life Farm and Fungi take pride in transforming your culinary dishes into a sensational experience using gourmet mushrooms.

“It started as a hobby that we were doing for 7 or 8 years ago, and we really enjoyed it,” Co-Owner Emalee said. “My husband and I had this goal of wanting to work together and wanting to work for ourselves, and we saw the opportunity right here in Cincinnati.”

Emalee, and her husband Pete, moved to Cincinnati in May 2020, and have been taking the fungi world by storm ever since. Since they began selling at Findlay Market in 2021, Rich Life Farm and Fungi is the only wholly-focused mushroom grower at the market.

“We are really passionate about fungi and all of the applications of it. It has Medicinal uses, wonderful gourmet cooking properties, and more.”
